All round Technician (Millwright)

As our site continuously evolves, our machinery ranges from older equipment to the latest high-tech machines. We are seeking a Service Technician to handle breakdowns across the entire site.

• A completed Millwright/Redseal/Trade education in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics, and/or several years of work experience in a similar position.
• Affinity with electrical and PLC systems
• A preference for the dynamic nature of a complex factory environment.
• Availability for 5-shift work.
• Ability to quickly adapt to various tasks.
• Capacity to maintain an overview of multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and act accordingly.
• A responsible, decisive, results-oriented, and action-oriented mindset. Alongside other service technicians, you are prepared to roll up your sleeves.
• Safety and quality are your top priorities. Your technical expertise contributes to optimal plant performance, minimizing breakdowns and downtime. This enables you to go home at the end of the day with a sense of accomplishment.

• In this position, you receive a good salary(€3,376.26 to €4,150.71 based on 36 hours). Your experience and qualifications will determine your salary.

As a Service Technician, your main focus will be troubleshooting breakdowns and conducting associated analyses, as well as carrying out corrective maintenance. Specific tasks include:

• Identifying and analyzing reported breakdowns or deviations in production equipment and determining their root cause. If needed, engaging expertise or support (from your team, within the company, or external parties) in line with internal guidelines, procedures, and work instructions to ensure clarity of the issue.
• Assessing the potential impact of the breakdown/deviation in consultation with the production department to assign the correct priority.
• Performing corrective maintenance related to breakdowns, guiding and supporting colleagues or external parties involved, in accordance with procedures and work methods, to minimize disruption to production processes.
• With an analytical mindset, you initiate and implement improvements wherever possible. Our factories operate 24/7, using complex installations (high-voltage systems, control systems) and equipment (measurement, regulation, and pneumatic tools).
• You handle the standard troubleshooting tasks as a Service Technician.
• You also participate in (improvement) projects to enhance the performance of our factory. This includes considering machine safety (Lock Out, Tag Out, Try Out), food safety, and ensuring proper administrative processing in our maintenance management system.

At our production site, over 800 colleagues from diverse backgrounds work in various disciplines. Every day, we produce high-quality (sweetened) condensed milk products. Our global market share of consumed condensed milk products is 10%. To achieve this, more than one billion liters of milk flow through our pipelines and high-tech installations each year. But it doesn\'t stop there—we also handle the full processing and packaging process.

• By your first payment you will receive € 3000,00 net relocation allowance.
• For your 1st accommodation in the Netherlands you get support by the Xelvin with the help of our Housing Consultant.
• In case of having to pay the 1st months’ rent or potential deposit, Xelvin is willing to pay it for you upfront, after which we’ll set up a loan agreement, for you to pay us back over the duration that you work for us.
• Xelvin is certified to do VISA applications for you and your family, and get your work permit in order so you can travel and start working.
• A relocation assistance allowance will be paid to you, to cover the cost of relocating to the Netherlands.
• You (and your family) will be picked up at the airport or train station by your consultant/recruiter after your arrival, and will be taken to your accommodation.
• Onboarding: we\'ll advise you on how to set up a Dutch bank account, apply for health insurance, getting a Dutch BSN number, writing in with a dentist and general practitioner and other useful or necessary cases to arrange.
• A presentation organized for all newly recruited engineers & technicians to make them aware of our Dutch tax system, 30% ruling and explaining the Dutch payslip.
• A few social gatherings with all Xelvin employees and recruited engineers & technicians per year;
• New Year\'s drink, beverages and bites are served.
