Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is looking for a skilled Manager/Accountant in Bloemfontein to oversee financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting, at least 5 years of experience, and be proficient in accounting software such as Pastel, Sage, or Xero. My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Manager/Accountant to take charge of their financial operations. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of accounting experience, with SAIPA or SAICA registration preferred, and the ability to lead a small finance team with confidence and accuracy.
- Handle full accounting functions up to trial balance
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting
- VAT, PAYE, and statutory submissions
- Oversee daily finance and admin operations
- Liaise with external auditors, SARS, and internal stakeholders
- Enforce internal controls and ensure compliance
- Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
- SAIPA or SAICA registered (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of Pastel, Sage, or Xero
- Excellent Excel skills and analytical thinking
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
- High attention to detail and deadline-focused
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30 | Friday: 07:30 – 13:30
