The Role: Quality & Compliance Manager: Accreditation
This senior leadership role is central to maintaining and expanding the company's accreditation portfolio while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Acting as the key liaison with SETAs, the QCTO, and other authorities, the role provides strategic guidance to internal teams, secures programme approval, oversees the Quality Management System (QMS), and drives compliance across projects and delivery processes. The role ensures the organisation's standing as a trusted and credible training provider.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain accreditation with SETAs, the QCTO, and relevant councils
Lead accreditation applications and approvals for QCTO programmes
Manage all regulatory and institutional compliance, including audits and reporting
Ensure full implementation and maintenance of a compliant QMS across operations
Guide and support Academy Development Managers, Project Managers, and delivery teams to align with accreditation standards
Source, accredit, and manage facilitators, moderators, and workplace partners
Oversee learner certification processes and assessment centre compliance
Drive continuous improvement in quality, compliance, and risk management practices
About You
Minimum 5 years of management experience in a training and development environment
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Education, Training & Development, Quality Management, or related field (NQF 6/7)
Proven experience in QCTO programme accreditation processes
Track record in managing SETA/QCTO audits and compliance requirements
Strong background in Quality Management Systems development and implementation
Skilled in sourcing and managing facilitators, moderators, and workplace partners
In-depth knowledge of QCTO and SETA accreditation frameworks, SAQA, DHET, and Skills Development legislation
Familiarity with workplace learning, learnerships, and skills development facilitation
Understanding of Health & Safety compliance in training environments
Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding organisational credibility and compliance excellence
