Job summary
A dynamic recruitment agency located in Cape Town is seeking a skilled professional for an import and shipping role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in shipping or foreign accounts payable, along with comprehensive knowledge of import documentation. In this role, you will process foreign and local payments, manage import documentation, and track incoming shipments. Candidates must also possess excellent skills in MS Excel and have a Grade 12 education. This position offers opportunities for career growth in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Min. 5 years experience in a shipping or foreign accounts payable position.
- Knowledge of import documentation and procedures is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Control all import documentation per consignment.
- Process foreign and local payments.
- Prepare monthly costings.
- Track and monitor all incoming shipments.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to imported goods.
