Credit Analysis & Due Diligence : Assist in conducting in-depth credit reviews of potential borrowers and projects, evaluating financial statements, cash flow profiles, and business plans, with a focus on the agricultural sector's unique risks and opportunities.
Data Collection & Financial Modeling : Support the building and maintenance of financial models and credit risk tools to identify key risk factors and exposure for new and existing transactions.
Deal Support : Collaborate with senior analysts to structure term sheets and loan agreements in line with Agrarius' sustainability objectives and risk appetite.
Participate in preparing and reviewing deal documentation and compliance checklists.
Portfolio Monitoring : Help monitor portfolio companies, updating financial performance indicators, tracking compliance with credit agreements, and flagging any credit deterioration or sustainability metric deviations.
Reporting : Prepare draft credit reports, risk summaries, and periodic updates for the investment and credit committees.
Market Research : Conduct research into macroeconomic, sector-specific, and regulatory trends that impact agricultural lending and sustainability-linked bond performance.
Stakeholder Coordination : Liaise with internal teams (legal, origination, operations) as well as borrowers, auditors, and external reviewers to aid credit process workflow and information collection.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Agriculture, or a related field (Honours preferred).
1–3 years' experience in credit analysis, risk management, or financial services preferred; exposure to agriculture, project finance, or sustainability-linked lending is advantageous.
Timely and accurate analytical work supporting credit decisions and deal structuring.
Quality participation in due diligence, documentation support, and ongoing monitoring tasks.
Contribution to portfolio performance tracking and risk mitigation.
