A specialist asset and equipment finance provider that supports SME businesses seeks a recent graduate to take up the role of Junior Credit Analyst.
You will manage application screening, data accuracy and initial risk checks while receiving hands‑on coaching and guidance.
Location: Rosebank, Johannesburg (Office-Based).
Salary: R30 000 to R35 000 per month.
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed and relevant BCom or BSc degree
- Recent graduate who wants to build a long-term career

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Capture, verify, and quality-check all incoming credit applications with complete accuracy
- Assess documentation for completeness, consistency, and alignment with scorecard requirements
- Analyse bank statements, financial statements, and supporting documents to identify affordability, risk indicators, and application viability
- Conduct thorough credit bureau checks and interpret results to guide recommendations
- Validate supplier information, equipment values, and transaction legitimacy
- Communicate confidently with sales teams, brokers, suppliers, and clients to obtain missing information and provide clear updates
- Form early‑stage credit views based on data, patterns, and red flags, and elevate findings appropriately
- Track applications through the full process to ensure SLA and turnaround targets are met
- Prepare information packs, summaries, and inputs that contribute to the compilation of full credit papers
- Work closely with the credit team to ensure decisions are informed, well supported, and documented
- Contribute to continuous improvements in application processes, document control, and workflow efficiency
