A leading shipping company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated operations coordinator. This role involves receiving orders, managing cargo operations, and ensuring adherence to MPA guidelines. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in ship management operations with strong communication skills. Knowledge of bunker operations is an advantage. Work involves overseeing quality audits and ensuring compliance with company policies as well as statutory requirements.
Competenze
- At least 2 years' experience in ship management operations.
- Experience in Bunker operation will be an added advantage.
Mansioni
- Receive orders from marketing and coordinate work between cargo officers and barges.
- Ensure bunker is supplied and documented according to MPA guidelines.
- Manage the company Quality System by means of auditing to determine where improvements are needed.

- Receive orders from marketing and co-ordinate work between cargo officers and barges
- Scheduling cargo load from suppliers
- Ensure bunker is supplied and documented according to MPA guidelines
- Responsible for implementation and maintenance of QA system according to international quality standard
- Maintain Internal Quality Audit Schedule
- Carrying out Quality Audits
- Maintain Quality Records for designated time periods
- Identify the need for and provision of training
- Establishing the competencies required for functions in the Operations Dept
- Coordinate and verifying C.A.R.s
- Coordinate and verify minutes of the monthly Operational Meetings
- Ensure external documents are up-to-date
- Ensure company’s Quality policies are adhered
- Ensure statutory and code requirements are met
- Manage the company Quality System by means of auditing to determine where improvements are needed and verify implementation of this necessary corrective action
- Manage both internal and external audits when necessary
- Ensure that approved procedures are adopted within areas of responsibility
- Ensuring that office staff are conversant with the company Quality System, its policies and procedures and have ready access to them
- Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
- Diploma or Professional qualifications in administration or equivalent
- At least 2 years’ experience in ship management operations
- Experience in Bunker operation will be an added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Results oriented personality who thrives to work in a dynamic environment
- Analytical, able to work independently, results-oriented and pro-active
