Job summary
A TCM rehabilitation clinic in Singapore is seeking a Physician Consultant to provide professional treatment services, maintain accurate documentation, and assist in health education. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, registration as a TCM physician, and at least 3 years of experience. This role offers a competitive remuneration package that includes a basic salary and performance bonuses.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of practice treating patients with TCM.
- Valid registration with Singapore TCM Physician Practicing Certificate.
- Experience in chronic disease management preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional TCM treatment services including consultation and acupuncture.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments.
- Participate in R&D and marketing-related meetings.

As our Physician/Physician Consultant, you will be assigned to work in our TCM Clinics and to carry out the work duties as follows:
- Provide professional TCM treatment services (including consultation, prescription, and acupuncture) to patients, based on the assessment of patient’s health and wellness as well as information provided by the patients, including laboratory reports.
- Maintenance of accurate documentation of symptoms, treatment services and medicine assigned to patients in the TCM clinic management database.
- Participate in and contribute to R&D, operations, and marketing‑related meetings or programs with expert advice and suggestions.
- Attend to patients’ inquiries about medication, treatment, and other TCM‑related queries.
- Lead and/or assist in health talks and educational programs for public or corporate.
- Adhere to the TCM Physician’s Code of Conduct and MOH’s regulatory requirements.
- Undertake clinic management, operations, and Supervisory duties as necessary.
i. Technical Competencies
- A first and/or postgraduate Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and at least 3 years of practice treating patients with TCM.
- Fresh graduates trained in Double Degrees in Bachelor of Sciences in Biomedical Sciences and Bachelor of Chinese Medicine are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
- Valid registration with Singapore TCM Physician Practicing Certificate/License.
- Evidence of TCM Diagnosis & Treatment especially experienced with chronic disease management would be advantageous.
ii. Core Competencies & Traits
- A caring and patient‑oriented attitude – Passion for TCM and service to the community.
- Willing to learn new TCM knowledge and grow with the team.
iii. Preferred achievements/characteristics
- Bilingual in Chinese/English. Knowledge of additional local dialects would be an advantage.
