JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Manager, Supply Chain & Operations is responsible for leading and managing the Warehouse & Distribution functions to achieve goals and objectives, with a strong emphasis on providing quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Workflow and Infrastructure Redesign: Collaborate with the Manager to redesign warehouse workflow and infrastructure, integrating automation solutions to enhance efficiency within budget constraints.
Team Leadership: Motivate and unite the warehouse team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain regular communication and reporting with stakeholders to ensure transparency and effective management.
Daily Operations Management: Oversee daily operations including inbound, outbound, inventory, and returns with partners.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory activities such as cycle counts, stock counts, handling of damaged or expired items, stock rotation, and maintaining safety stock levels.
Discrepancy Resolution: Identify, resolve, and determine the root cause of inventory discrepancies and other related errors.
Discrepancy Reporting: Report and investigate discrepancies between the system and partners' Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ensuring timely submission of root causes and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
SOP Compliance: Ensure all operational processes and documentation adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Customer Management: Manage enquiries and orders promptly, ensuring timely and professional communication.
Operations & Incident Coordination: Collaborate with operations and transport teams to support order fulfillment and manage service-related incidents, ensuring proper escalation, resolution, and follow-up.
Service Excellence & Improvement: Handle customer feedback, drive continuous improvement in service quality, and support process and system enhancements to meet service level expectations.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Warehouse Management or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Logistics and Supply Chain, with prior experience in supply chain and warehouse operations for the healthcare sector.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Warehouse and Distribution Operations and Procedures, and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Analytical Skills: Analytical and meticulous, with a keen eye for details and numbers.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team, fostering a positive work environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Working Hours: Mon - Thu 8.30am to 6.00pm, Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm.
Location: 4 Pandan Ave.
