About us: We are a fast-growing Retail & Food and Beverage (“F&B”) Group headquartered in Singapore. We are looking for an Assistant General Manager / Operation Manager to join our exciting growth journey.

Possessing the versatility of rolling up your sleeves to solve challenges on the ground, the ideal candidate will have the pivotal role in executing the Founders’ retail business strategies and driving sales growth and optimizing group’s operation efficiency.

Job Description:
1. Multi-Outlet Operational Leadership
  • Lead and supervise daily operations across all QSR outlets in designated area.
  • Enforce and enhance SOPs, service flow, food quality and hygiene at all outlets.
  • Partner with Founders to drive outlet P&L performance — labour %, food cost %, and wastage control.
2. Team Development & Leadership
  • Oversee outlet supervisors and staff and act as the primary operations contact for the Founders.
  • Maintain a structured and documented training framework for onboarding, service, kitchen etc. for new hireson-boarding.
  • Source & hire kitchen crew as required to meet manpower requirements.
  • Manage weekly staff scheduling, attendance, and performance standards with clear accountability.
3. Expansion Planning & New Outlet Launches
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute new outlet openings.
  • Work with Founders to develop a scalable opening playbook (timelines, hiring, equipment, supply chain).
  • Hire and onboard new Assistant F&B manager / Outlet Supervisor for new outlets launched.
  • Collaborate with marketing and finance to ensure smooth outlet launch.
4. Process, Systems & Brand Protection
  • Standardize and maintain documented SOPs across all brands for inventory, staff scheduling, quality control, compliance and customer experience.
  • Resolve customer escalations promptly and monitor feedback channels to protect brand reputation.
5. Supply Chain & Vendor Management
  • Work with procurement to ensure stable food supply, negotiate pricing, and control food cost.
  • Develop central kitchen processes to support preparation work to support expansion.
  • Implement reliable ordering and inventory management systems.
6. Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare and present monthly reports on profitability, cost optimisation, and key operational metrics using standard management templates provided by Finance.
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance across all outlets.
  • Maintain complete and updated documentation of all operational SOPs.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree with at least 5 years of F&B experience as an Operations Manager managing more than 5 QSR or fast food outlets (AGM role);
  • Diploma with at least 3 years relevant experience as an Area/Operations Manager preferably from a fast food or multi-outlet brand (Ops Mgr role);
  • Business acumen, hands-on, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills
  • Experience in operations optimisation, cost management, and improving outlet profitability
  • Familiarity with local food safety and hygiene requirements
  • Hands-on culinary experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
