Assistant Tax Supervisor
Job summary
A leading tax advisory firm in Singapore is looking for a tax advisor with at least 4 years of experience in a professional accounting firm. The role involves preparing statutory filings, reviewing tax returns, and managing tax controversies. Candidates with experience in corporate and personal tax advisory, along with SIATP membership, are preferred. This position offers a collaborative work environment focused on tax compliance and advisory services.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience with a professional accounting firm.
- Experience in dealing with tax advisory for Corporate Tax, Personal Tax and GST related matters a plus.
- Obtained / pursuing SIATP membership or equivalent.
- Experience in handling Personal Tax.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Statutory Filings.
- Review tax computations and tax returns.
- Identify developments that impact tax compliance.
- Manage tax controversies and draft responses.

- Review implications of tax risks to the client or organisation
- Monitor business operations and data periodically to ensure tax controls and other tax risk policies are adhered to
- Drafting of tax advice
- Identify tax issues across different tax types to draw out implications to the client or management
- Draft tax advice to the client or management
- Ensure proper documentation of tax technical and/or tax legal positions supporting the tax advice
- At least 4 years of experience with a professional accounting firm
- Experience in dealing with tax advisory for Corporate Tax, Personal Tax and GST related matters a plus
- Obtained / pursuing SIATP membership or equivalent
- Experience in handling Personal Tax
