VAC Art Gallery and Studio is a new branch of Visual Arts Centre, offering an expanded range of products and services as both an art gallery and an art studio. Guided by the vision of making art more accessible, inclusive, and engaging, the gallery is dedicated to nurturing artistic talent, promoting fine art, and creating meaningful art experiences for the wider community.

We actively support and showcase fresh local and Southeast Asian talents, alongside established artists, providing a platform for diverse voices and contemporary perspectives. Through a wide range of art courses, workshops, exhibitions, corporate art programmes, and cultural collaborations, VAC Art Gallery and Studio seeks to bring art closer to people—bridging education, creativity, and community in an approachable and inspiring way.

We are looking for a Marketing & Business Development Executive who is passionate about the arts and excited to grow an art-focused organisation. This role combines marketing execution, partnership development, client engagement, and business growth initiatives across VAC’s gallery, studio programmes, workshops, and corporate offerings.

You will be a part of the team to develop an entire new brand presence, expand partnerships, and drive new business opportunities for VAC Art Gallery & Studio!

• Plan and execute marketing strategies for art courses, workshops, exhibitions, and special events
• Create and coordinate marketing content such as captions, visuals, posters, brochures, and event listings
• Support brand positioning and ensure consistent visual and messaging standards across all platforms
• Assist with publicity, collaborations, and media outreach when required

• Build and develop products and workshops
• Identify and develop new business opportunities (corporate workshops, schools, institutions, community partners), liaise with clients and collaborators for art programmes and events
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for corporate and institutional clients
• Maintain relationships with existing partners and clients to encourage repeat engagement
• Support negotiations, confirmations, and follow-ups for projects and partnerships

• Support exhibition marketing, artist collaborations, and gallery events
• Assist in planning and promoting art exhibitions, art talks, and cultural programmes
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of events and programmes
• Assist with on‑site events, launches, and workshops when needed

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Arts Management, Communications, or related fields
• Strong interest in art, culture, and creative industries
• Experience in marketing, business development, or sales (arts or education industry is an advantage)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with both creative work and client‑facing responsibilities
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficient in English (Mandarin is an advantage for bilingual communication)
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing tools

• Organised in managing work tasks, ability to multi‑task and follow through
• Confident in presenting ideas and communicating with clients
• Willing to learn and grow within the arts and cultural sector

• Working Days: Wednesday to Sunday
