Senior Process Technician/Process Technician

Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Process Technician/Process Technician to oversee and optimize chemical production activities. This role ensures that manufacturing operations comply with strict Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards while maintaining production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict compliance with INEOS safety protocols, maintaining SHE performance of assets.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and standards for Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality, and Energy compliance.
• Prepare and conduct maintenance work, including independent maintenance tasks while working on shift.
• Assist the Shift Supervisor in plant operations via DCS computer systems and safety interlock mechanisms.
• Support the development of production, quality assurance/control, and maintenance strategies.
• Participate in emergency response planning and update process procedures.
• For Senior Process Technician, mentor junior process staff on plant operations and best practices.
• Perform plant shutdowns and restarts independently.
• Respond to and mitigate plant field emergencies effectively.
• Ensure production quality, schedule adherence, and cost efficiency.
• Report accidents, near misses, injuries, equipment/material damage, or chemical spills, assisting in issue resolution.
• Engage in fire response efforts until specialized assistance arrives.
• Attend training sessions and company-sponsored professional development programs.
• Obtain required certifications for safety, production, and process-related training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• ITE, Diploma Level in Chemical Process Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills:

• Able to operate physical plant operations and computerized control systems (DCS).
• Familiarity with industry practices and standards in the chemical industry.
