Job Description

The Operational QC Officer is responsible for ensuring that all printing and packaging products meet the company's quality standards and comply with customer specifications. This role involves close monitoring of production processes, conducting in-process inspections, and working collaboratively with production teams to maintain product consistency and reduce waste or defects.

In-Process Quality Control:

- Conduct routine quality checks during production processes

- Monitor critical control points to ensure process parameters are within acceptable limits.

- Identify non-conformities in real-time and initiate corrective actions.

Inspection and Testing:

- Ensure that all products consistently meet established quality standards throughout the production process.

- Perform regular checks and evaluations during operations to detect deviations, defects, or non-conformities.

- Participate in investigations related to customer complaints, internal non-conformities, and process deviations.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate QC records, inspection logs, and deviation reports.

- Report quality issues and support root cause analysis and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).

- Ensure adherence to company quality policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and relevant regulatory requirements.

- Record inspection results, maintain accurate quality control logs, and escalate issues to the appropriate personnel when needed.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to identify root causes of quality issues and support timely resolution.

- Coordinate with production supervisors to resolve quality-related issues.

- Communicate with the QA department regarding batch approvals and release.

Continuous Improvement:

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and internal audits.

- Provide feedback to improve operational procedures and reduce quality deviations.

- Provide feedback on quality trends, suggest improvements in processes, and participate in quality-related initiatives and audits.

- Provide recommendations on identified process gaps and serves corrective and preventive actions

- Assure ongoing compliance towards recognised frameworks and methodologies

- Research, develop and maintain training and operating procedures and process analysis based

Standards Compliance

- Ensure equipment are all duly calibrated

- Responsible for the management of compliance tasks and projects (including ensuring quality standards, reporting, and process flow analysis, procedural documentation and training

- Assure ongoing compliance towards recognised frameworks and methodologies

- Research, develop and maintain training and operating procedures and process analysis based on laws and legislations, and standards

- Perform audits based on regulatory and internal requirements

- Provide recommendations on identified process gaps and serves corrective and preventive actions

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and GMP
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in using quality inspection instruments and MS Office tools.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese
