Job summary

A leading construction and F&B company in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive / Account Officer to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with full set of accounts for both construction and restaurant businesses. Responsibilities include invoicing, financial reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements. Candidates must possess a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance, along with 2–3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in accounting software and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in accounting.
  • Experience in construction accounts and restaurant/F&B accounts is essential.
  • Familiar with GST, cost control, and project-based accounting.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple entities.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts for construction and restaurant businesses.
  • Manage AP/AR, invoicing, payments, and receipts.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, P&L and cash flow statements.
  • Track project costs, progress claims, and supplier invoices (construction).
  • Manage daily sales reports, POS reconciliation, and cost control (restaurant).
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with IRAS, GST, and statutory requirements.
  • Support year-end closing and audit processes.
