A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an HR Support Specialist to deliver comprehensive HR support and manage payroll processing. The role includes overseeing recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma in Human Resource Management and have 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in retail or service industries. Knowledge of Singapore employment laws is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide HR Support: Deliver comprehensive HR support to the Group HR and Finance teams, including HR correspondence, monthly reports, and documentation to ensure efficient operations.
Manage Payroll: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including benefits administration, CPF submissions, and HR-related reporting such as Tax Clearance and Annual IR8A filings, while ensuring alignment with updates to employment legislation.
Support Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, talent sourcing and screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, employment documentation, and building talent pipelines to support new store launches.
Maintain Employee Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, attendance tracking & leave management
Facilitate Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires to ensure a smooth transition and alignment with company goals and culture.
Coordinate Training and Engagement: Support staff training initiatives, performance review cycles, and employee engagement activities.
Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with MOM mandatory reporting, employment legislation, internal policies, and established HR procedures.
Uphold Confidentiality: Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in handling HR information and employee data.
Handle Ad-hoc Tasks: Undertake additional HR-related tasks and projects as assigned by the Group HR and Finance Department
Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in retail or service industries.
Familiar with SAP; knowledge of Singapore employment laws, CPF, and Income Tax is an advantage.
Detail-oriented, professional, and discreet, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
