Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore seeks a dedicated customer service and account management professional to ensure exceptional service for assigned accounts. The role involves coordinating air and sea freight shipments, managing customer relationships, and preparing necessary documentation. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and able to handle operational administrative duties while adhering to compliance standards. This position offers a dynamic work environment supporting cross-departmental projects.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries and providing timely solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand and fulfill their logistics requirements.
  • Manage customer expectations and work with internal teams to deliver an exceptional service experience.
  • Coordinate full-cycle air and sea freight shipments, including booking, space allocation, and transport arrangements.
  • Liaise with airlines, co-loaders, and shipping lines to secure cargo space and plan shipment schedules.
  • Prepare and process import/export documentation, including permits, customs clearance, bills of lading, and airway bills.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing for all shipments.
  • Assist with cross-departmental projects and process improvement initiatives as required.
  • Perform general operational administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and scanning.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and industry compliance standards.
