Job Description

• Provide diagnostic imaging services to patients.
• Admit and discharge imaging outpatients and ensure relevant paperwork is filled out correctly.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure inpatient imaging procedures can be performed smoothly.
• Data entry of patient records, imaging requests and other administrative duties.
• Assist imaging colleagues to perform required imaging for patients, including CT scans, MRI scans and radiographs (this will include developing competent familiarity with veterinary anatomy for optimal positioning and imaging quality).
• Assist to coordinate imaging infrastructure and equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and operating procedures during examinations.
• Assist with provision of basic patient husbandry for imaging outpatients.
• Assist HOD to generate and implement SOPs.
• Ensure that all diagnostic images are of good quality and sent out to relevant external parties for interpretation when needed.
• Ensure all interpretation reports are delivered to vet‑in‑charge timely.
• Maintain current knowledge of radiology safety policies.
• Perform any ad‑hoc assignments as required within the team.

Requirements

• Degree, Diploma or certification in Veterinary Technology / Nursing relevant studies.
• Certified veterinary radiologist / technician.
