Job Purpose
The Logistics Executive is responsible for supporting the effective and compliant operation of SRC’s logistics and storage functions by managing administrative processes, documentation, and coordination activities. The role ensures accurate record-keeping, timely reporting, and smooth information flow to enable efficient logistics operations and support organisational readiness and service delivery.
Principal Accountabilities
Logistics Administration & Documentation
- Manage and maintain accurate logistics, asset, and inventory documentation, including asset registers, inventory records, purchase orders, and material requisitions.
- Establish and maintain orderly physical and digital filing systems to ensure timely retrieval, traceability, and compliance.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into relevant systems to support logistics, asset tracking, and reporting requirements.
Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of SRC assets, including IT equipment, subscriptions, procurement records, and end-of-support tracking.
- Conduct regular asset and inventory audits to ensure accuracy, accountability, and compliance with organisational policies.
- Work closely with IT Management to support the full lifecycle of IT equipment, including procurement, deployment, redeployment, and decommissioning.
- Support internal and external audit processes by ensuring documentation and records are complete and audit-ready.
Reporting & Compliance Support
- Assist in the preparation of regular logistics and warehouse reports, including stock movements, asset status, and operational metrics.
- Prepare and maintain operational documentation such as invoices, delivery notes, shipment records, and tracking logs.
Ensure compliance-related records (e.g. safety, operational, and regulatory requirements) are properly maintained and readily accessible.
Warehouse & Storage Operations Support
- Support inventory control activities by assisting with stock monitoring, goods receipt and dispatch documentation, and record accuracy.
- Ensure all stock movements into and out of warehouse and storage spaces are properly documented and reconciled.
- Assist in managing warehouse equipment and supplies, ensuring appropriate records and usage tracking are maintained.
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate closely with Administration, IT, Finance, Procurement, and other internal stakeholders to support efficient logistics operations and timely material flow.
- Coordinate with internal staff and external vendors to ensure administrative logistics processes are aligned, accurate, and completed on time.
- Support communication with vendors and service providers on logistics-related updates, issues, and schedule changes as required.
Job Specification
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in logistics.
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or logistics operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and office software (Google Workspace, etc.).
