Job description

Operations Executive – Singapore

I. Key responsibilities

• Ensure all contractual obligations and compliance requirements are met.
• Support traders by providing relevant market intelligence and assisting in business development initiatives.
• Responsible for deal data entry and maintenance of business systems, and strengthen monitoring of contract execution.
• Maintain accurate records of operational activities in compliance with company policies.
• Implement necessary financial security measures and cost optimization strategies.
• Manage cargo and vessel nominations, prepare and send voyage orders, and monitor vessel progress.
• Coordinate with cargo counterparties, terminals, vessels, inspectors, agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely information exchange.
• Responsible for reconciliation with suppliers and customers.
• Perform any ad hoc duties assigned by immediate superior/Management.

II. Requirements and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in international trade or other business-related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in trading operations.
• Ability to work flexibly under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and numerical proficiency.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates).
• Singaporean nationality or permanent resident only.

III. Salary and benefits
