About Company:

Our client is an international marine transportation corporation, founded in Japan in 1903 and established in Singapore in 2012. With over 40 affiliated companies, they are involved in a broad range of business activities, including logistics, container liner services, chartering, and ship management, among others.

Job Description:

• Perform full-set accounting
• Checking of satellite office funding on monthly basis
• Ensure timely submission of satellite office monthly reporting together with supporting documents and schedules
• Responsible for checking accuracy and completeness of satellite office monthly reporting and doing journal entries into accounting system
• In charge of checking all audit reports and schedules performed by overseas auditors
• Perform data entry / checking of customer / supplier invoice posting upon invoice approval including making payments into banking platform
• Perform cash-in / cash-out entries into accounting system after payment is done
• Prepare bank reconciliation for office bank accounts
• Perform bank reconciliation on monthly basis and post journals for bank charges directly into MariApps
• Prepare AR and AP schedules and AR and AP ageing on monthly and yearly basis
• Assist in checking and verifying vessel payments
• Handle all fixed asset accounting work of UMMS

Job Requirements:

• Degree in accounting field
• Able to multi task
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in accounting
• Experience in working in a company with overseas reporting requirements
• Experience in shipping preferred but training will be provided
• Committed and meticulous individual with great team bonding skills

Compensation:

• Working location: 10 mins walking distance (650m) from Harbour Front MRT
• Working hours: Mon - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
