Accounts Associate
Job summary
A financial solutions company in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Associate to manage client accounts, prepare financial reports, ensure compliance with regulations, and handle payroll. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Accounting and Finance, be proficient in accounting software, and possess strong English and Chinese communication skills. This position requires meticulousness, independence, and good interpersonal abilities.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the SFRS, GST Act, and related regulatory policies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Project-related experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients.
- Prepare monthly or quarterly financial reports.
- Ensure service standards and reporting deadlines are met.
- Prepare GST report and filing.
- Prepare unaudited statutory financial statements.
- Process payroll and submit CPF for clients.

- Handle full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients in various industries.
- Prepare monthly or quarterly financial reports for management and reporting purposes.
- Ensure firms’ service standards and reporting deadlines are met.
- Prepare GST report and filing.
- Prepare unaudited statutory financial statements in accordance with SFRS.
- Payroll processing, such as calculating payroll and submitting CPF for clients.
- Other related accounting tasks as assigned.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Preferably a Diploma or Degree in Accounting and Finance or pursuing relevant professional qualifications.
- Handling a portfolio of clients, those with project-related experiences will be advantageous.
- Possess a strong understanding of the SFRS, GST Act and related regulatory policies.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and accounting software such as Quickbook, Xero, etc.
- Good command of English and Chinese both written and spoken.
- Meticulous with a strong sense of responsibility, proactive, and able to take initiative to perform duties independently and able to work collaboratively as a team.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
