• Manage deliverables while ensuring adherence to company and department policies and procedures relating to Client Operations and Transfer Agency such as NAV reporting, investor registration, dealing, investor reporting, and cash.
• Serve as a main contact for daily client inquiries during Japanese business hours from the client servicing desk at our parent company. Manage these queries to a satisfactory closure or appropriately hand off to the source team, in line with Japanese client service expectations.
• Handle sensitive or escalated queries/concerns from Clients, Investors, Fund Managers, or internal MUFG Departments following high-quality standards in line with Japanese clients’ expectations.
• Support Client Operations and Investor Operations teams with their deliverables as needed.
• Support teams and departments across locations, providing training and guidance on Japanese client servicing as needed.
• Foster a professional environment encouraging personal and professional development.
• Promote collaboration across business units and regions to ensure high standards in Japanese client servicing.
• Assist with Client Operations and Investor Operations projects, initiatives, and risk mitigation, encouraging participation, feedback, and idea generation from team members.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated team management experience in Investor Services, Fund Administration, or related industry
• Strong leadership skills
• Fluent in Japanese
• Experience leading or facilitating technology-driven changes
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Professional communication skills
• Business logic and risk-aware approach to operations
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve complex issues, providing guidance and training as needed
