is a specialist contractor in structural steel, hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) systems, crash-rated bollards, gates, and precision fabrication, delivering for Singapore’s top main contractors and government agencies.
We are growing and looking for a Sales Executive who understands construction, can talk to engineers and PMs, and knows how to turn opportunities into awarded projects.
This is technical sales, not cold calling or retail selling.
Identify and pursue opportunities in building, infrastructure, transport, healthcare and government projects
Engage main contractors, consultants, QS, and clients early in the project cycle
Understand client requirements and propose suitable structural steel / HVM / bollard solutions
Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and negotiations
Drive projects from enquiry to award, working closely with internal teams
Read and understand architectural and structural drawings
Clarify scope, specifications, and interfaces with clients and consultants
Work with engineers, PMs and drafters to develop compliant proposals
Identify value-engineering opportunities where appropriate
Support technical presentations, meetings and clarifications
Coordinate internally to ensure smooth handover from sales to project execution
Align scope, pricing, programme and technical requirements before award
Maintain strong relationships throughout project lifecycle
Build long-term relationships with repeat clients and consultants
Track market trends, upcoming tenders and competitor activity
Represent LYS professionally in meetings, site visits and industry events
Has 2–6 years’ experience in construction-related sales
(structural steel, building works, façade, railings, M&E, or specialist contracting)
Is comfortable talking to engineers, PMs, QS and consultants
Understands construction drawings and technical specifications
Thinks in terms of buildability, sequencing and risk, not just price
Is proactive, persistent and accountable for results
Can negotiate firmly but professionally
Communicates clearly and follows through

Basic AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage (not mandatory)
