Job summary
A logistics and operations firm in Singapore is seeking a seasoned professional to partner with the Managing Director and GM. In this role, you will oversee operations, logistics, procurement, and service delivery while ensuring revenue performance and margin management. Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in manufacturing or related sectors, with a track record in operational leadership. This position offers the chance to step into the Acting GM role as needed, fostering succession readiness.
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, building materials, or related sectors.
- Proven track record in both operations and commercial leadership.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in SME or mid-sized organisations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Managing Director and GM for operational stability.
- Oversee operations, logistics, procurement, and service delivery.
- Drive revenue performance and pricing discipline.
Skills
- Partner the Managing Director and GM to ensure operational stability, execution excellence, and commercial discipline
- Oversee core functions including operations, logistics, procurement, inventory, and service delivery
- Drive revenue performance, margin management, pricing discipline, and cost control
- Review operational and financial results, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
- Lead cross‑functional coordination across Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR
- Manage key customer, supplier, and internal escalations
- Step in as Acting GM during the GM’s absence as part of succession readiness
- 8 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, building materials, or related sectors
- Proven track record in both operations and commercial leadership
- Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams in SME or mid‑sized organisations
Working Location: North
Working Hours: Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm
