Alkem, a leading publisher and book distributor, is now looking for a Book Purchasing Officer.

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to fulfill the following responsibilities:

1. Issue purchase orders to publishers and suppliers.
2. Keep track of and receive incoming shipments and orders.
3. Negotiate with publishers on a case-by-case basis.
4. Provide status reports.
5. Handle general administration and documentation work.

Qualifications:

• Minimum diploma qualification.
• Proficient in operating a PC with reasonable typing speed.
• Presentable, outgoing, and positive attitude.
• Well-versed in written and spoken English.
• Sociable with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
