Job Purpose
Manage and ensure the planning, design, and delivery of world-class sports assets in AlUla. Monitor execution, drive strategic alignment, and develop innovative infrastructure. Work out solutions, elaborate concepts, and discuss with stakeholders to create functional, high-quality assets supporting AlUla s global sports vision.
Functional Responsibilities
• Elaborate on planning and design proposals through detailed documentation, presentations, and reporting to ensure clarity, alignment, and informed decision-making by leadership.
• Work out practical design and construction solutions that balance aesthetics, user experience, operational functionality, and long-term maintenance efficiency.
• Develop comprehensive master plans, facility layouts, and technical specifications that translate the sports vision into feasible and impactful asset designs.
• Collaborate with D&C, contractors, internal departments, external consultants, sports federations, and event organizers to ensure the smooth, timely execution of development projects and align outcomes with AlUla s strategic sports priorities.
• Drive innovation and excellence in sports infrastructure by leading the integration of cutting-edge design technologies, construction techniques, and multi-purpose functionality.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and execution quality from conceptualization to handover, proactively addressing risks and ensuring seamless coordination among stakeholders.
• Ensure that all sports facilities meet international standards, local regulations, and sustainability, accessibility, and safety requirements, while supporting both current and future operational needs.
• Manage the end-to-end planning, design, and development lifecycle of all sports assets in AlUla, aligning with strategic objectives to establish the region as a global sports destination.
Managerial Responsibilities
• Contribute to the preparation of the Department's or Section's annual budget and monitor the financial performance of the Department or Section.
• Develop the Department's or Section's objectives, KPIs, annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets.
• Ensure effective staffing, professional development and deployment of staff of the Department or Section in consultation with the Sector Executive or (Executive) Director.
• Implement and execute the Department's or Section's policies and procedures. Oversee the overall performance of the section and ensure KPI s are well developed, cascaded, communicated and monitored.
• Provide input to the sector s strategy from the Department's or Section's perspective in line with RCU overall vision and mission.
Academic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree Preferred) in Engineering, Sports Management, Construction Management, Public Administration Or a related field.
Work Experience
• 8 years of relevant experience with 3 years in a managerial role

• Excellent communication skills.
• Written and Oral proficiency of Arabic and English languages.
