Maintenance & Repair Hub Manager (Jeddah)
Job Description
As an HUB M&R Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that equipment is safe, suitable for commercial demand, and repaired according to company standards and processes.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate repair documents in MARS and ensure estimation and repair performance according to company standards.
- Conduct regular local M&R inspections at repair shops (onsite), including pre-repair and post-repair inspections of selected estimates and available units.
- Perform frequent M&R audits, including costs analysis, M&R general framework, and quality assurance of materials and repairs.
- Evaluate and document on-hire inspection and off-hire repairs for leasing equipment.
- Initiate recovery of 3rd party damages and provide evidence.
- Support local tariff negotiations.
- Analyse adhoc costs and repair cycle time statistics.
Qualifications
- IICL Reefer & Dry Van Container Inspection Certification Examination or sufficient technical knowledge confirmed by the Regional M&R Senior Manager, acquired through experience.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Fluent in English, written & spoken, as well as local language for the related Area of responsibility.
- Proficiency in using M&R Systems, including CEDEX coding.
- Driver license, willing to frequently travel within designated radius.
- Experience in a similar role within the logistics or shipping industry (preferred).
- Knowledge of Reefer‑ (aggregate & box), Standard‑ and Special Container repair, as well as maintenance standards / processes. (preferred).
- Familiarity with auditing and inspection procedures. (preferred).
