UOP is the recognized leader in developing and licensing process technology used by refiners and petrochemicals producers to produce gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and the building blocks for plastics and other products. It also develops and sells catalysts, adsorbents, equipment, process plants, and technical services.

UOP is pioneering technology to produce plastics from natural gas and to extract more valuable products from every barrel of oil. It has also developed renewable energy technologies, including Honeywell Green Diesel and Honeywell Green Jet Fuel, which powered the first transatlantic biofuel flight.

Position Overview:

The Career Development program at UOP begins with an 18-24 month assignment at either UOP's headquarters in Des Plaines, Illinois, or one of its regional offices in Europe and India. Participants will be exposed to various training opportunities, including Process Development, Operating Technical Service, Customer Training, and Process Engineering.

Qualifications:
  • BSc or equivalent in Chemical Engineering; preferred GPA 3.0 or above (2.1 or higher)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
  • Flexibility to work shift hours and long shifts as needed
  • Ability to work in physically challenging environments
  • Commitment to a minimum 36-month Field Operating Service assignment post-training
  • Ability to interact with global customers
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills; team-oriented approach
