We have an opening for a Sr. Account Manager – Smart Cities to join our Honeywell Building Automation team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves driving sales and business development for smart city solutions, including IoT, connected infrastructure, and urban technology innovations. The candidate will engage with city officials, urban planners, and other stakeholders to provide technology solutions that enhance urban living, efficiency, and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients such as government agencies, municipalities, and urban development organizations.
- Promote and sell smart city technologies like platforms, IoT solutions, urban infrastructure software, smart grids, connected transportation, and sustainable city tech.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Develop tailored sales strategies based on client needs.
- Understand client challenges and goals related to energy efficiency, sustainability, mobility, and infrastructure.
- Provide expert advice and demonstrations on smart city solutions addressing urban challenges.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and pitches.
- Establish strategic partnerships within the smart city ecosystem.
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Research new market opportunities and potential clients.
- Provide feedback to product teams based on customer needs and market trends.
- Lead negotiations to close sales deals.
- Prepare contracts, pricing models, and bid documents.
- Achieve sales targets and comply with Honeywell policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from a reputable university.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with Smart Cities Platforms and IoT Solutions.
- Deep understanding of the software industry and projects.
- Extensive knowledge of the Saudi market.
- Proven success in selling complex, large-scale projects.
- Proficient in proposal writing and presentations.
- Experience with low current systems such as BMS, Access Control, Surveillance, Fire and Safety, and SCADA.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in Arabic (reading and writing).
