Industrial Complex, Riyadh
The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.
Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.
The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.
Job Purpose
Responsible for driving cost reduction, reliability improvement, and value enhancement across the full range of medium voltage products and components. The role focuses on value engineering (VE), design-to-cost, and product optimization, ensuring solutions are competitive while maintaining compliance with IEC standards and customer requirements.
Key Accountability Areas
Value Engineering & Optimization
- Lead product optimization projects across RMUs, VCBs, busbars, insulators, and mechanisms.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, material substitution, design simplification, and standardization.
- Ensure all optimization activities enhance quality, sustainability, and manufacturability.
Design & Analysis
- Use 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or equivalent) to optimize product design.
- Perform tolerance analysis, weight reduction studies, and assembly simplification exercises.
- Validate optimized designs through simulations (mechanical, electrical, thermal) and physical testing.
Competitor Benchmarking
- Conduct detailed competitor product analysis to compare design approaches, costs, and performance.
- Produce benchmarking reports and recommend differentiation strategies based on global best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with procurement, suppliers, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure optimized designs are practical and cost-effective.
- Support testing teams in validating improvements and addressing production challenges.
- Participate in workshops to identify and resolve cost and design challenges.
Continuous Improvement
- Apply structured improvement methodologies such as VA/VE, DFMA, and Six Sigma tools.
- Track and document cost savings, performance improvements, and reliability enhancements.
- Support localization initiatives by adapting designs to regional manufacturing capabilities.

Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Any relevant field
