Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team. The Network Engineer will be responsible for the Design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our organizations and projects network infrastructure for various solutions such as Video Surveillance, access controls, Building management systems etc. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of networking protocols, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy network topologies for wired and wireless infrastructure supporting industrial and surveillance systems (e.g., CCTV, servers, and AI-based applications).
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and wireless infrastructure. (Experience with Cisco, Teltonika, Robustel, Ubiquiti).
- Perform initial server setup including RAID configuration, OS installation, and system readiness for deployment.
- Set up and configure firewalls, including policies, VPN configurations, and security rules to protect network assets and ensure secured OT to IT data transmission. (Must have good knowledge on
- Install, configure, and maintain Video Surveillance equipment, including NVRs, Cameras, VMS servers, Multiplexers etc.
- Good Understanding on Cybersecurity compliances, expertise on Firewalls & Network Security Devices: Expert configuration and management of Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs), Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Web Application Firewalls (WAFs), and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Perform network troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to design and implement network solutions.
- Conduct network upgrades and assist in the implementation of new technologies.
- Maintain network security and implement appropriate controls to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network connectivity and related issues.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in networking technologies.
- Assist in the planning and execution of disaster recovery procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies outside of regular working hours, if necessary.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven 2-5 years experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong command of routing, switching, and firewall configuration (Fortinet, Cisco, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Experience with VLANs, STP, Routing, and wireless P2P/P2MP technologies.
- Strong knowledge in Video surveillance configurations and specially cameras angle and appropriate lens type to have good coverage.
- Strong knowledge in IT operations and system administration.
- Hands‑on experience with network devices and technologies, such as Cisco, Aruba and Fortinet.
- Hands‑on experience with Video Surveillance equipment, such as Avigilon, Axis, Pelco, Hikvision, Dahua.
- Proficient in network documentation and design tools (Visio, Draw.io)
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and network diagnostic utilities.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Industry certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ or Security+ are a plus.
