Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Civil Engineer to join our team for the EPC of a 400kV substation in Saudi Arabia. This position is ideal for a Saudi National with a background in civil or structural engineering, and a strong interest in infrastructure development for high‑voltage utility projects. The role requires full‑time on‑site presence during the construction phase, with assignments in remote and isolated locations across the Kingdom.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Nationality: Saudi (mandatory)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Focus on infrastructure, industrial facilities, or utility‑scale projects is preferred
• Language: Proficiency in Arabic and English
• Mobility: Willingness to work in remote site locations for extended periods during construction

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the review and implementation of civil designs, including foundations for transformers, GIS, and gantries, cable trenches, duct banks, and drainage systems, control building structures and access roads.
• Coordinate with survey teams, contractors, and construction supervisors to ensure timely execution of civil works.
• Support the preparation of method statements, material submittals, and inspection requests.
• Participate in quality control, safety audits, and progress reporting.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations, utility standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and civil engineering documentation.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of civil engineering principles in utility‑scale infrastructure.
• Familiarity with construction materials, soil mechanics, and structural detailing.
• Knowledge of international and local standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, SASO).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in remote site environments and under field conditions.
