Job summary
A leading logistics company located in Saudi Arabia is searching for a station operations manager to oversee logistics operations, manage staff, and ensure efficient reporting. The ideal candidate will enhance interdepartmental connections for smooth operations. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and staff effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Manage and train station staff, including supervisors and drivers.
- Oversee day-to-day logistics operations at the station.
- Ensure timely reporting and staff attendance updates.
- Effective staff/employees management (use of employees effectively to reduce human cost).
- Ability of forecasting regarding volume and need of hiring staff.
- On-time reporting and updating the reports and staff attendance.
- Oversee day-to-day logistics operations at the station, including inbound and outbound shipments, last-mile delivery, and returns.
- Manage, train, and supervise station staff including supervisors, drivers, and couriers.
- Better connection with other departments (HR, Finance, Fleet, and Customer Service) for smooth station operations.
