We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Sales Manager – Government to develop and manage relationships with government clients and agencies. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to support the hotel’s sales objectives and maintain strong client partnerships.

• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with government clients and agencies.
• Generate new business opportunities within the government sector and grow existing accounts.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, bids, and presentations tailored to government requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements in compliance with government regulations and hotel policies.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations to optimize business results.
• Attend government-related networking events and industry forums.
• Monitor market trends, policies, and competitor activities affecting government sales.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and client communications.
• Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards and company policies.

• Proven experience in government sales or related roles within hospitality.
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to develop strategic sales plans and achieve targets.
• Knowledge of government client needs and market trends.
• Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
• Flexibility to travel and attend client meetings as required.
