Job summary
A leading technology consulting firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Consultant Basis with over 7 years of experience in SAP NetWeaver Administration. The role involves managing SAP implementations, performing administration tasks, and ensuring system performance. Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have expertise in SAP architecture along with knowledge of Linux systems. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Information Technology or a related field.
Qualifications
- 7+ years’ experience in the SAP NetWeaver Administration space.
- Expert understanding of SAP architecture and administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Complete multiple full life cycle implementations in SAP.
- Perform administration activities for the SAP NetWeaver stack.
- Drive system performance tuning and monitoring.
Skills
Education
Qualified candidates must have completed multiple full life cycle implementations (mid-size to large projects) and have at least seven+ years’ experience in the SAP NetWeaver Administration space.
Candidates should have strong product and troubleshooting experience, as well as successful full life cycle implementations of large scale, challenging and complex SAP implementations. Excellent oral and written communications skills are a must.
- Knowledge and experience SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, BW on HANA solutions
- Knowledge and experience with evaluating, install, configure and deploy SAP applications with HANA DB instances
- Knowledge and experience with Red Hat Linux Operating System
- Knowledge and experience with SAP Performance tuning, especially memory tuning with HANA
- Perform administration activities for the SAP NetWeaver stack in components that include but are not limited to SAP ERP, BW, NWDI, Business Objects and Enterprise Portal.
- Perform database administration activities for the SAP environment, includes database capacity management, performance tuning and day to day operations.
- Engage and drive a proactive system performance tuning and monitoring for the SAP components.
- Transport, landscape and instance maintenance and management.
- Perform client and system refreshes as required by project demands.
- Execute SAP Basis/NetWeaver Administration activities including system installation and upgrade, software release management, problem determination and resolution, incident management.
- Work with other SAP groups assisting with issue resolution and troubleshooting.
- Must be ability to clearly, concisely and thoroughly communicate.
- Must be able to think outside the box and find creative resolutions to complex problems.
- SAP DB/OS Migration experience.
- Oracle database Administration experience.
- SAP NW AS JAVA administration and configuration experience
- BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar or equivalent additional experience.
- 6+ years in a similar role supporting a medium to large corporation.
- Expert understanding of SAP architecture and administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- SAP HANA installations and support.
- SAP HANA certifications.
- Knowledge of, and ability to manage and support Cloud Hosting solutions (Ariba/SuccessFactors).
