About the location:


AMAALA is situated along Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast and is home to some of the most diverse natural environments. Marking a new chapter for comprehensive wellness tourism, Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay will feature 220 keys comprising of rooms and suites, as well as villas with their own private pools, and 26 branded residential villas, all thoughtfully designed to offer breathtaking bay and sea views. The resort will include a luxury spa nestled within its garden of tranquility and inspiration featuring a sculptured waterfall. The Organic Spa Garden will be a focal point and treatment experience set to stimulate the senses, offering extensive therapeutic remedies including halotherapy, cryotherapy, and advanced skin therapies. For fitness enthusiasts, the property will offer a bespoke collaboration with fitness trainer Harley Pasternak to seamlessly merge high-performance training with the limitless potential of Triple Bay’s 300 hectares (741 acres) of untouched hills, wadis, and beaches. The pristine terrain includes trails perfect for canyoning and exploring the rugged cliffs and valleys. Join the pre-opening team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay as Sous Chef – Staff Cafeteria. Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading the culinary operations of the colleague dining facility, ensuring our team members enjoy fresh, nutritious, and varied meals every day. This role is vital in supporting colleague well-being and maintaining high team morale.
What You Will Do
  • Oversee pre-opening tasks including cafeteria kitchen setup, menu planning, supplier coordination, and recruitment of the kitchen team.
  • Lead the daily preparation and service of meals for all shifts, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner for hotel staff.
  • Develop rotating menus that reflect nutritional balance, regional variety, and global flavors.
  • Supervise cooks and stewarding staff assigned to the cafeteria, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in accordance with HACCP and Four Seasons protocols.
  • Manage inventory, portion control, cost efficiency, and minimize food waste.
  • Encourage feedback from employees and adapt menus based on seasonal availability and preferences.
What You Bring
  • Experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a staff cafeteria, banquet production, or high-volume kitchen operation.
  • Passion for serving others with consistency and care, especially internal team members.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Menu planning and nutritional awareness.
  • Pre-opening experience is a plus.
  • Suitable candidates must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia. Fluency in English is essential.
