Job Description

• Conduct thorough inspections of static mechanical equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of inspection findings, including reports and checklists, for quality assurance records.
• Monitor and verify the application of welding and fabrication processes to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Utilize specialized inspection tools and techniques to measure component dimensions and assess mechanical properties.
• Train and mentor junior inspectors in quality control procedures and inspection techniques to build team expertise.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in quality control or inspection within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing industries.
• Technical knowledge of engineering codes and standards i.e. ASTM, API, IEC, NEMA, UL, FM, NFPA, ASME BPVC (Sections I, V, VIII and IX); ANSI/ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8 and B73; NACE SPs, API 620, API 650 and AWS D1.1
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex problems and determine appropriate corrective actions swiftly.
• Saudi Aramco project experience with SAP reference transmittal and CBT passed document is mandatory
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
