Job Description

Main Tasks:

1. Supports the MTSD (Maintenance & Technical Support Depot) RSADF (Royal Saudi Air-Defense) Officer-in-Charge by:
2. Actively advising and assisting in all aspects of his specialty.
3. Monitoring and analyzing factors affecting operational availability, Shikra system performance, support chain performance, and recommending/implementing corrective actions locally and with the team in France.
4. Evaluating performance of Shikra systems, data handling, and communication equipment.
5. Monitoring Built-In Test equipment/software, analyzing results, and recommending improvements.
6. Performing intermediate level maintenance (Field Maintenance FM) as required.
7. Performing diagnostic checks, specialized maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of radar and C2 systems to ensure operational readiness.
8. Diagnosing and isolating complex electronic problems between hardware, software, and LRUs using diagnostics, self-checks, BITE, and test equipment.
9. Supporting Mobile Maintenance Team (MMT) functions and traveling to remote sites for software maintenance, troubleshooting, and OJT.
10. Ensuring Shikra system readiness by communicating with Contractor Experts in Europe for solutions and malfunctions that cannot be remedied alone.

Required Skills

A. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Radar Technology.
• Specialized training and certification in Radars and/or C2.
• Qualified and specialized in GM200 Radar and CONTROL View SHIKRA equipment, including hardware and software (training certificate to be provided post-hiring).
• Proficiency in English; French and Arabic are advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

B. Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in operational and maintenance of PSR/SSR Radars, C2, and communication equipment, including installation, testing, integration, upgrades, and modifications.
• Experience with Radar, Primary/Secondary systems, plot extractors, and interface equipment.
• Technical knowledge of antennas, processors, computers, data transmission, power systems, etc.
• Experience working in a complex, multi-cultural, multidisciplinary environment with contractor support services.
