Job summary

Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Daily monitoring of plant condition to keep stable and safe plant operation, including monitoring each critical operating parameters and site visiting to check actual facility conditions.
    • To provide necessary recommendation and/or instruction to normalize the condition.
    • To evaluate the plant performance, including critical instrument, equipment and catalyst.
    • To conduct and lead trouble shooting activity cooperating with concerned parties.
    • To study operation optimization, energy conservation and cost reduction, and take necessary actions to implement them.
    • To support other concerned parties activities.
    • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by Sr. Engineer or SH
Minimum Requirements:
  • A first degree in chemical engineering or equivalent engineering degree
  • Minimum 3 years of total experience of having worked for the refinery or petrochemical operation
  • Thorough knowledge of process engineering practices, basic plant operations and economic principles
  • Thorough knowledge of process engineering practices, basic plant operations and economic principles
  • Good understanding in environmental/process safety management
  • Familiar with industrial standard and IT applications
