Job summary
A technology company is seeking an Application Developer (PHP Programmer) to join their team on-site in Penang Island. This role is suitable for both fresh graduates and candidates with 1–3 years of experience. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining web and mobile applications, with a strong emphasis on PHP programming and web services. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or above and be willing to work in a Linux environment.
Qualifications
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of experience in software development.
- Strong in PHP programming with good coding practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and mobile applications.
- Work with third parties to fulfill project requirements.
- Help develop documentation, processes, workflows, and checklists.

Application Developer (PHP Programmer/ Software Developer) - on-site in Penang Island. This role is open to fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of experience, who are passionate about coding and eager to grow their career in software development. Must be strong in PHP programming with good coding practices. This position requires on-site work and a willingness to relocate to Penang Island.
Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications, and mobile applications (Android/iOS)
- Work with third party to fulfill project requirements and integration of services
- Resolves and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
- Help develop documentation, processes, workflows, and checklists, as needed
- Ability to work cross functionally with various teams & people of different skillsets
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
- Understand and experience with Web Services: SOAP, JSON, XML and REST
- Knowledge in Laravel Framework, Tailwind CSS and Flutter is a plus
- Familiarity with API Integration
- Able to work under Linux environment.
- Knowledge with mobile website optimization, responsive web design
