The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure project success by maintaining quality standards and addressing customer feedback during the process.
- Lead and manage NPI projects from concept through production readiness.
- Work with design, quality, production, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability and seamless product launch.
- Interpret and review technical drawings, BOMs and customer specifications.
- Support DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and provide feedback to design teams for sheet metal components and assemblies.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, track deliverables, and report status to stakeholders.
- Coordinate prototyping, testing, and validation of new products.
- Define and document work instructions, routing sheets, and process flow for new products.
- Support the transition from prototype to production, including tooling, fixtures, and machine setup.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the NPI process.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain close communication with customers and internal teams to manage change requests and feedback.
- Support cost estimation and quoting activities for new projects.
