About the role

We are seeking Junior Site Engineers/Technical Assistants to join our dynamic team at MCC 22 MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Kuantan, Terengganu, and Perak. As a full-time Site Engineer/Technical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical aspects of our ongoing construction projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising and coordinating the on-site activities of construction teams to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
2. Conducting regular site inspections and monitoring progress to identify and resolve any technical issues or challenges.
3. Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents to provide technical guidance and support to construction workers.
4. Liaising with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to communicate progress, address concerns, and collaborate on problem-solving.
5. Assisting with the preparation of reports, documentation, and records related to the project's technical aspects.
6. Providing technical support and training to less experienced members of the construction team.

What we're looking for

1. A bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field. Must be able to read and write Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients.
2. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
4. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures.
5. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
6. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
