Descripción de la vacante
A financial services company in Malaysia is seeking an Accountant to manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance or Accountancy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Familiarity with auditing is an advantage. This role requires an immediate start and offers a dynamic working environment in Petaling Jaya.
Formación
- Must have a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy.
- Experience in auditing is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
Responsabilidades
- Prepare full sets of accounts, handling accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Support in month-end closing procedures.
- Compute company taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Reconcile weekly statements across all company accounts.
Conocimientos
Educación
Prepare full sets of accounts, handling & monitoring on account payable and account receivable & collections.
Responsible for daily accounting duties and ensuring accounting records and systems comply with the Company’s policies, accounting standard systems comply with Company’s policies, accounting standard procedures and related statutory and tax requirements.
Support and accurate timely completion of month-end closing procedures.
Able to compute company taxes, prepare tax returns and ensure prompt payment to statutory bodies.
Reconciling weekly Statements and across all company accounts.
Ad hoc and any other accounting duties assigned by Senior Management/Head of Department from time to time.
Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
- Candidate that have previous Audit experience will be added as advantages.
- Candidate able to work under pressure & meet set deadlines.
- Candidate have strong communication and presentation skills.
- Candidate must be independent, team player, proactive and positive work attitude.
- Candidate that can start IMMEDIATELY will be added as advantage.
- Candidate must be willing to work at Jalan 223, Petaling Jaya.
