Job summary

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Proficiency in preparing e-invoicing and financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Experience in tax preparation and compliance (added advantage).
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to work onsite at Wisma UOA II, Jalan Pinang, KLCC, 50450 Bandar Kuala Lumpur.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development and management of the company's budget, monitoring performance against budget and providing variance analysis.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Maintain fixed asset register and ensure accurate depreciation calculation and posting.
  • Assist in the preparation for and coordination of external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the reliability of financial reporting.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax regulations, and ensure the company's compliance.
