Job Summary

• Responsible for the areas of Cellular Network Quality and Assessment in terms of compliance, coordination, standards development and resources as well as the government and industry, paving the way in ensuring the business continuity of U Mobile.
• Responsible and accountable for developing, maintaining and expanding the relationship, participation and contribution to standards development entities in the industry, thus ensuring smooth, effective and beneficial implementation of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

The Day-to-Day Activities

• Monthly reporting to SKMM on SKMM predefined test drive test routes and ensuring meeting KPI thresholds outlined by SKMM for Central, Northern, Southern, Eastern and East Malaysia.
• Monthly presentation and update to SKMM HQ, Central, Northern, Southern, Eastern and East Malaysia.
• Responsible for Spectrum Audits and Technology Development in terms of compliance, coordination, standard development and resources as well as the government and industry.

About You

• Degree in IT, Business, Finance, Law or related fields in Telecommunications.
• Have telco industry knowledge & able to resolve issues with the relevant internal teams and SKMM.
• Able to identify solutions for risks & escalate them through the proper procedures and mitigate them.
• Possess in-depth technical regulatory knowledge in order to negotiate with SKMM and industry players to achieve the desired outcome.
• Able to translate and understand the network performance KPI to ensure compliance with relevant legislative and licensing requirements.
