Remote Japanese Procurement Specialist - Global Sourcing
Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in Malaysia is looking for a Procurement Specialist to validate and process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Business Studies or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in a centralized purchasing environment. Proficiency in Japanese (minimum JLPT N2) is mandatory, along with strong communication and negotiation skills. This position allows for a flexible work-from-home arrangement.
Qualifications
- Minimum JLPT N2; JLPT N3 with good Japanese proficiency can apply.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a centralized purchasing environment.
- Experience in shared service centers in large organizations is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Validate and process Purchase Requisitions.
- Convert Purchase Requisitions/Shopping Carts to Purchase Orders.
- Manage and resolve internal and external queries.
- Participate in invoice reconciliation process.
- Produce accurate and timely reports.
- Manage quote collections and biddings when applicable.
