Job summary
A leading consultancy firm in Malaysia is seeking a qualified Engineer to specialize in Acoustic design and project management. The role involves preparing project documents, coordinating designs, and attending project meetings. - Prepare project design documents, drawings and budgetary proposals.
- Work in a team to produce coordinated acoustic design with all necessary mechanical, electrical and spatial designs.
- Project co-ordination and management
- Attend project meetings
- Perform site inspections and project commissioning.
- Conduct overseas travel for meeting and/or project site visit.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Specialization in Acoustics, Noise & Vibration, Mechanical or Building Services will be preferred.
- 2 years experience in Architectural Acoustic, Mechanical Design or Building Services will be an advantage.
- Project management and site experience with exposure in Southeast Asia projects.
- Knowledge and proficiency in using MS Project, AutoCad, Autodesk.
- Fluent in English language both spoken and written.
- Willing to travel in Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific region as and when required.
- Strong initiative, customer-oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to meet tight schedule.
- Good writing skill and capable to produce professional design/tender documents.
