Core Objective

To build and manage vivo’s retail social media matrix, empowering 100+ Concept Stores across Malaysia to maximize footfall and conversion through high-impact, localized content.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Standard Setting
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for all retail stores across TikTok, XiaoHongShu (XHS), and Facebook.
  • Define, implement, and continuously optimize standardized SOPs for retail social media accounts, including visual aesthetics, copywriting tone of voice, hashtag strategies, and community engagement protocols.
Content Hub Management
  • Plan and produce high-quality “Viral Templates” and creative assets that store managers can easily localize or replicate.
  • Monitor trending topics and viral formats in real time, providing clear and actionable guidance for stores to participate in trends, ensuring vivo remains at the forefront of local social media conversations.
Empowerment & Training
  • Conduct regular training sessions for 100+ Store Managers and retail staff on short‑video filming, editing, and live‑streaming techniques.
  • Identify, develop, and nurture internal “Staff KOLs” to humanize the brand and drive authentic engagement at the store level.
Traffic Conversion & Analytics
  • Analyze performance data across all retail social media accounts to optimize the Online-to-Offline (O2O) conversion funnel.
  • Strategize and implement methods to maximize organic reach and drive physical footfall to vivo Concept Stores.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience in Social Media Operations or Content Strategy. Experience in Retail, Smartphones, or 3C Consumer Electronics is a strong advantage.
  • Platform Mastery: Expert‑level understanding of TikTok, XiaoHongShu (XHS), and Facebook, including platform algorithms, content distribution mechanics, and viral content structures.
  • Training Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex filming and editing techniques into clear, easy‑to‑follow SOPs for non‑creative retail staff.
  • Creative Flair: Strong aesthetic sense with hands‑on skills in mobile photography, short‑video editing (e.g. CapCut), and basic graphic design.
  • Language: Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Melayu to effectively engage a diverse workforce and support multi‑lingual content creation.
  • Drive: Proactive, results‑oriented, and capable of managing large‑scale retail projects in a fast‑paced environment.
