Job summary

A leading retail company is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to support and manage end-to-end IT operations for its stores and offices in Indonesia. The role involves overseeing IT infrastructure, managing systems stability, and supporting new store openings. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in IT, extensive experience in retail IT operations, and strong leadership abilities. This position requires communication in English, and the ability to work under operational pressure while travelling as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure, preferably in retail.
  • Strong capability in IT asset management and vendor governance.
  • Able to communicate fluently in English.

Job description

Support and manage end-to-end IT operations for stores and offices to ensure system stability and service quality

Assist in leading and supervising IT Operation Support Leader, including coaching, task coordination and performance monitoring team.

Ensure smooth operation of store IT infrastructure (network, server, POS, and security systems)

Support IT readiness and implementation for new store openings, renovations, and relocations, ensuring on-time and issue-free go-live

Handle incident escalation and assist in resolving critical system issues impacting store operations

Monitor daily operational processes such as system availability, data synchronization, and reporting

Oversee the operation, maintenance, and improvement of CCTV, access control, and attendance systems, in coordination with security and HR teams

Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure service quality and SLA compliance

Support IT asset management, cost optimization, documentation, and operational standards implementation

Monitor operational risks, identify recurring issues, and implement preventive and corrective actions

Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability

Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure, preferably in retail industry
  • Proven Experience handling store IT systems such as POS, EDC, HHT, CCTV, access control, attendance systems, and store networks
  • Good understanding of network and server environments (LAN/WAN/WiFi, firewall, Windows Server, Linux, AD)
  • Knowledge of retail IT systems, security standards, and incident handling
  • Experience in IT projects leadership, including new store openings and renovations
  • Strong capability ini IT asset management, budgeting awareness, and vendor governance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise IT support teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Able to communicate in English (working level)
  • Willing to travel and work under operational pressure
