We are seeking a Software Development Manager (Engineering Manager) up to head level to lead and grow our software development team. This role requires a strong technical foundation, hands‑on leadership, and the ability to drive software development that meets excellent quality standards. The ideal candidate is well experienced in people management, strategic thinking, and cross‑functional collaboration across global teams.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and manage the software development team to ensure efficient, productive, and high‑quality output by providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
- Provide coaching and mentorship that gives software developers clear direction on their career development and empowers them to grow professionally.
- Oversee people and capacity management, including workforce planning, team structure optimization, and ensuring the team has the right skills and capacity to meet product and project goals.
Technical Oversight & Execution
- Oversee the end‑to‑end software development process, ensuring alignment with requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Maintain standardized deliverable quality based on best practices and meet international standards through regular reviews and updates.
- Provide hands‑on technical guidance and make key technical decisions to support the team in solving complex challenges.
- Oversee change management and issue resolution to keep delivery on track.
- Translate business strategies into executable IT delivery roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture.
Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams in Indonesia and with the headquarter to ensure consistent alignment with business and product objectives.
- Drive clear communication and cross‑team collaboration to ensure seamless alignment of requirements, feedback, and ongoing software iterations.
- Engage and communicate with senior stakeholders to ensure solution outcomes align with organizational priorities.
- Facilitate cross‑functional alignment between business, IT, and external partners for cohesive execution.
Business Strategy
- Observe and manage existing processes to drive improvements, increase efficiency, and ensure alignment with the company strategic plan.
- Oversee IT delivery budgets, resource allocation, and spending to ensure financial efficiency.
- Manage cost forecasting, vendor billing, and investment planning to align with IT and business strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience & Technical Skills
- 5+ years of recent professional experience in software development, including 2 years in a team leadership role.
- Previous experience in a project‑focused company is an advantage.
- Strong technical background with deep knowledge of software architecture design, software development best practices and processes, and lifecycle management.
- Proficient in at least two commonly used programming languages/frameworks. Preferred: Experience with modern front‑end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Flutter) and Java.
- Familiar with infrastructure and DevOps practices, with the ability to guide system setup, deployment strategies, and operational standards across teams.
- Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives, delivering enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, data platforms), or managing large‑scale application integration projects.
- Familiarity and hands‑on experience with ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) for managing incidents, problems, changes, and service levels.
- Solid knowledge of API integration, system interoperability, and scalable solution design. Having an understanding of enterprise architecture principles (e.g., TOGAF) is preferred.

Communication & Working Style
- Proficient in both written and spoken English (mandatory).
- Willing to work from the office in BSD, Tangerang Selatan.
- Willing and able to travel to Germany when it’s required.
